These are awesome refreshing snacks for hot summer afternoons!
Bananas
Cut popsicle sticks in half.
Then cut the bananas in half and insert the popsicle sticks into the bananas.
Freeze bananas.
Once bananas are frozen you can start the chocolate covering.
Chcocolate Covering
Mix in coconut oil, cocoa powder, panela sugar, and vanilla extract into a cup, you can choose to add less panela sugar if you really enjoy dark chocolate, make sure to try the taste of the chocolate to see if you need to add something.
Once mixed dip frozen banana in and use a spoon to cover all parts of the banana.
Once banana is covered wait 1-2 minutes to dry and store in a container in freezer.
1/3 cup coconut oil
3 tbsp of Hershey's Cocoa 100% cacao natural unsweetened
2 1/2 - 3 tbsps panela sugar
2 tsps vanilla extract
3 bananas
3 popsicle sticks
The Choco-bananas are a banana cut in half, you can choose to make the full banana but in this case don't cut the popsicle sticks in half, and keep in mind it is much harder to add the chocolate covering, and storing them.
Keep in mind the bananas are frozen so the chocolate covering dries off and freezes quickly.
Once, you have dipped your banana into the chocolate covering you can also sprinkle nuts or sprinkles on top of the chocolate covering.
For the popsicle sticks I use normal size popsicle sticks and cut them in half to use for each half of a banana because of the size.
If you really enjoy dark chocolate, you can choose to add less panela sugar.
